Aurora Robson: plastic art out of junk

Canadian artist Aurora Robson's fantastic colourful plastic sculptures made from recycled plastic bottles. Each sculpture uses around 20,000 bottles.

Couldn't help adding the pantone colours (as seen on my mac)!

 Pulp Fiction
(pantone 165 1495 143)

 Kermit
pantone 326 and 325 with a touch of 339?

Oleum
(pantones 2728  278, 512, 514)

I love this one as it was Made from 100% plastic marine debris collected by the Hawaii Wildlife Fund and created with students from Parker School in Waimea, Hawaii.

it is pure 100% plastic marine debris, no paint used to enhance the colours.

What a great way to learn about our environment!
